David Vipler, Owner of the Catskill Golf Resort at 27 Brooks Lane in Catskill announced the first pickleball courts in the Town of Catskill that will be available for the 2024 season. Pickleball, a combination of table tennis and badminton is played on a court half the size of a tennis court and is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Four courts have been built where there we previously 2 unused tennis courts to handle the growing population of pickleball players in the Hudson Valley.

According to Vipler, both new younger players and established players of all ages, have increased its popularity as both a social and family sport.  Hourly play and Membership play will be available, The courts have expanded side areas to allow for adaptive play including wheelchair access. We welcome you to come and socialize, make new friends, stay in shape, and grab a bite to eat and drink at our on-site Bistro/27 Restaurant. Although the restaurant is known for its’  tournaments  and special events, our focus remains on our Daily Golfers and Pickleball Players. Courtside delivery of Cocktails and Food will be available.
